QUARTZ WATCHES MANUFACTURING
An Intro to Quartz
Since Seiko first introduced to the world the quartz wristwatch in 1969, this timekeeping technology has been ubiquitous and can be found in numerous applications where keeping and tracking time are essential from any basic appliances to computers and spaceships.
How it works
A quartz watch keeps time via an electronic oscillator regulated by a crystal made of quartz and shaped as a tuning fork. Then, a digital counter driven by the frequency of the oscillator, delivers a digital pulse once per second triggering the hands of the watch via a step-motor.
Convenient & Accurate
The convenience and the small size of the quartz movements make them the best choice for lady and jewelry-oriented watches while their accuracy and affordability ratio also make them the best choice for cost sensitive projects.
